RISE 13 Scholarship Opportunity

Posted by Jamie Anderson on Saturday, November 10, 2012 Under: Outside Opportunity

My name is Hayley Douglas. I’m a member of the University of Dayton’s Davis Center for Portfolio Management where we oversee a $14 million investment portfolio and help coordinate the RISE Forum.

If you’re interested in stocks, bonds, trading, investing, or asset management, the RISE Forum is for you. Now in its’ 13th year, RISE is the nation’s premier student investment conference, and I’m writing to let you know how you can attend at no charge, thanks to the generosity of our corporate sponsors!

Next April’s conference will feature the CEOs, CIOs, and chief economists from many of the top firms in the investment industry, respected financial media personalities, and a first-ever Federal Reserve Presidents PanelTM! On Thursday, help lead the direction of their panel discussions by stepping up to the microphone to ask a question. On Friday and Saturday, attend breakout sessions to learn more about investment and career strategies.

The first student registered from your school can attend on scholarship, as can every fifth student thereafter. Call 937-229-4761 for details. Additionally, paid attendees can save $75 by registering before December 31--register two and you’ll lock in that discounted rate through February 28 for the rest of your group.

I hope it’s evident that we want to give as many students as possible the opportunity to experience what is uniquely RISE. Many past attendees cite RISE as a highlight of their college careers. Come see what all the excitement’s about on April 4-6, 2013, in Dayton, Ohio.

Hope to see you next April,

Hayley Douglas
